Pillar No. #4 – Inspired Action
This is where you take an action with a clear intent or objective. Inspired action is led from your Soul. It is not about taking actions in order to keep yourself busy or to distract yourself from different feelings, or even to procrastinate on the things you really need to be doing to rocket your business.
Sometimes inspired action can feel as though you simply have to take action and the Universe seems to bring things into alignment to help you achieve your desired outcome. Many people comment that they feel like their actions flow.
I had an experience of this myself when I launched my recent Abundant Life and Business Charity Bundle to raise money for the Syrian Refugees. From the point when I first had the idea to when I launched the bundle was only a week! In just three days I raised $4500 with $3000 going to Oxfam.
This said, it is important to recognise that inspired action does not always feel easy – sometimes it can feel really hard. This is especially where you have feelings of fear about the action you need to take. In this situation you might be needing to push through your feelings fear to take the action you know you need to take to grow your business.
Many sensitive entrepreneurs make the mistake of thinking that inspired action should always feel easy, when this simply is not the case. Inspired action applies to areas we like, and also areas we don’t like, or don’t feel very good at. It is about taking action consistently and repeatedly, making sure we take time to review and adjust until we get the result we are looking for.
It takes bravery and courage – no one said being an entrepreneur was easy. It is the best way I know to grow ourselves, given we quickly learn what our strengths and weaknesses are.
Inspired action is the opposite of indecision. I like to think of indecision as the silent killer of businesses. Inspired action is the result of effective decision making. Indecision means we don’t take the necessary actions to achieve our objectives.

Here are a few ways that you can harness inspired action to make your business a success:
- Meditate regularly
- Do one thing that scares you each and every day
- Quit indecision
- Evaluate your strengths and weaknesses regularly and employ people to help do areas of your business that are your weakest.
